I am Back!

I am back!

And I was gone for a reason. Let me tell you what happened.

I am so sorry I was not here for such a long time, missing many opportunities to deliver value to you. But I am back now and I will make it up to you, promise. But let me start by telling you what had been going on first.

I am officially located in Stockholm, Sweden! And as of 15 of June, I am an IT Manager at Procter & Gamble, and responsible for IT Delivery to 4 Nordic Countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. It is amazing what does “Responsibilities from day 1”  really mean within this organisation! I am happy to be here and so far I am just loving it here.

The relocation to a totally different country, settling down and making a home from a new place has taken a lot of my attention and effort. Although, I have to say that this time the process was more or less straight forward. I sit on my brand new terrace as I type this. Breathing in clean northern air: I am in love.

So, what will I do here?

Since IT Innovation is throwing itself into every industry these days, I will have to do a decent amount of homework. Some things I will oversee include CRM, Big Data and Data Analysis, Automation and Simplification of existing Business Processes by delivering newest IT Capabilities. I will obviously continue promoting Modern Workplace and will be responsible for the Change Management during my multiple projects. It is obviously overwhelming but I feel more than capable now and I definitely had a powerful start.

How long am I planning to stay here?

Running is not going to work for me anymore. I want to create a home for myself. Meaning  getting an apartment here, a car, and a dog. I will most probably stay for over 5 years. I will not make plans for after that time at this point in time. Traveling will be a big part of the future years, I want to visit Canada, States, and Australia. I foresee a lot of travelling for work in the future months as well to get my on boarding dealt with and to fully embrace P&G Culture.

What’s next?

Many changes are going to occur on this platform over the next couple of months, now that I am back. I will take a softer approach and will not make promises but I have got plenty of great ideas and will try to give you guys the most valuable info as always 🙂

Stay with me, connect on Linkedin, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Ask questions and I will make sure we have an insightful conversation!

Love,

~NJ
